Being an artist, I confirm to this essence because I believe art survives in every single moment of our lives. It flows like a breeze, like water, like a thought…uninterrupted. My art works are a reflection and a visualization of my thoughts.
I am fascinated with light and try to capture that bright, illuminated spot in my photographs. In the absence of it I add it in through Photo-Graphics. My experiments in photography are a combination of digital photography along with computer graphics.
My paintings, most of the times, are a reflection of social issues like Misuse of Ultra sound as in gender determination, Global Warming, Protection of Wildlife and Human struggles for survival etc. These themes keep my humane inner self motivated & satisfied in my attempts at touching people’s hearts by awareness generation through my art works.
In my recent collection of paintings, I have made use of rainbow colors, as a symbol of the beauty of nature, the way it was gifted to us. But ‘safedposh admi’ in his insensitivity and greed for more wealth symbolized by the use of golden color ,as in his insatiable hunger for gold has been snatching those beautiful rainbow colors. As shown in the use of white and gold overpowering the bright hues of the loving nature.
Zodiac signs are another area of my keen interest in paintings. ‘The summer of 1992 saw a very bright young artist graduate from the Government College of art at Chandigarh after a gruelling five years degree course in Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA Painting). This young man later blossomed into a bright, avant-garde artist who also had outstanding art promotion skills and vision. Presenting before an outstanding art connoisseur, Mr Kishore Shanker. The artist has all his life promoted Indian and foreign art and artists on diverse platforms both in India and abroad.
Mr Kishore Shanker has skilfully curated many art events, taken out books, catalogues on art and on lives of artists and is now successfully running his own art magazine named Art Observer that is in great demand due to its colourful pictures, selection of quality art works, essays and interviews of art achievers that satiate the knowledge thirst of art lovers.
Over the decades Mr Kishore Shanker has graduated to become an artist and art event organiser of review and acclaim.
Mr Kishore Shanker is happily married to Pooja who is a mathematician of repute. He is also the proud father of Prashant who is a highly accomplished cinematographer in Mumbai. His younger son Utkarsh is pursuing Animation Bachler Degree from AAFT, Noida and will blossom in the years to come into a fine person.
Today the art world is facing challenging times because of Covid-19. Mr Kishore has continued relentlessly in his art promotion mission in spite of this. He has recently acquired ISSN status for the Art Observer magazine that will bring greater elan to this periodical and improve its acceptance within the arts faculty.
